GITAM University Visakhapatnam Entrance Exam Notification for Under Graduate & Post Graduate 2013-14
GITAM University Visakhapatnam was Establish u/s 3 of UGC Act, 1956. Students who are seeking admission in UG (Under Graduate) or PG (Post Graduate) courses they may apply before last date of notification or form filling.For admission in GITAM University all applicants have to attend GSAT -2013 examination which held at various centres in Andhra Pradesh and outside.
Programmes Offered: Under Graduate & Post Graduate (Master in Science in Food Science and Technology, Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Environmental Science, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Electronics Science, Analytical Chemistry) .
Master in Science
Admission process: Merit list based in entrance test applicants get selected.
Eligibility Criteria: At least 50% marks are essential in relevant field/degree. Applicants who are in last year may also eligible to apply.
UG Programmes
Bachelor of Environmental Management, 5 year Integrated Master in Science, Bachelor in Computer Application.
BCA
Eligibility Criteria: At least 50% marks are essential in relevant field/degree. Applicants who are in last year may also eligible to apply.

Maser in Computer Application Course
Admission process: Merit list based in entrance test applicants get selected.
Eligibility Criteria: At least 50% marks are essential in relevant field/degree & Mathematic as compulsory subject in 12th / UG level. Applicants who are in last year may also eligible to apply.
Centres for Test: Anantapur, Kakinada, Dhanbad, Patna, Eluru, Kurnool, Bengaluru, Kota, Rayagada, Kadapa, Srikakulam, Berhampur, Kolkata, Varanasi, Tirupathi, Visakhapatnam, Guwahati, Pune, Guntur, Ongole, Warangal, Jamshedpur, Raipur, Hyderabad, Rajahmundry. Bhubaneswar, Nagpur, Bhimavaram, Khammam, Vijayawada.
Applying Process: Applicants can download from official site or sending request letter for Application form.
Offline Mode: In this mode applicants have to send request letter by mentioning name of applicant, address, mail ID & attaching Demand Draft of for Rs 350/- drawn in favour of GITAM University payable at Visakhapatnam. Applicants get application form from, from Principal, GITAM Institute of Science. Request letter shall be received before April, 03rd 2013.
After filling application form applicants have to attach all supporting documents and send it to the Principal, GITAM Institute of Science, GITAM University, Rushikonda, Visakhapatnam-530045, Andhra Pradesh.
Application form, supporting document & Demand draft shall be send before April 20th 2013.
Application Fee: Applicants have to pay Rs 300/-.

If applicants want to apply for more than one course then they have to pay application fee individually.
E-Ticket: E-Ticket will post to all students who applied for any above course. One week before entrance test. If applicants fail to receive then they have to directly contact to the Principal, GITAM Institute of Science, GITAM University Tel 0891-2840450/451/452. Carefully keep that E-Ticket safely for future reference.
