Admission process: Admission is done through merit basis, where entrance test was conduction by Himachal Pradesh University.
Eligibility Detail: Students had done graduation in any discipline with at least 50% marks (SC /ST with 45% marks) from repudiated university.
Mathematics is essential subject in 12th /graduation degree.

Age criteria: Student’s age should not exceed from 26 years for general category students & 29 years for SC/ST & 28 years for girls.
Paper Pattern:
Only one paper contains 130 marks of 2 hours duration. There are following four sections which are as follows:
General logical ability & aptitude
Mathematics
Computer awareness
General English
Form fee structure: Students have to pay Rs 650/- & reserved students have to pay 325/- in form of Demand draft / IPO.
DD is in favour of Chairman, Dept of Computer Science, HP University, Shimla payable at Shimla.
Applying Procedure: Students have to download application form from official site of HP University, filled application form, DD, admit card of Rs 6/- affixed on space provided and send it to “the Chairman, Dept of Computer Science, HP University, Shimla-5".
