Civil Services 2013-2014 Exam Pattern Changes | UPSC New Pattern

Civil Services Examination conducting by Union Public Service Commission. This year paper pattern has been changed. All candidates had an advice to tighten their belt for new paper pattern which will going to implement from the year 2013. Candidates those how are appearing for this examination has to updated regarding to 2013 examination paper pattern and syllabus.

List of Changes done by UPSC

Total number of paper which candidates use to give was 9, which now reduced to 7.
Marks of English and general Studies has now increased but it is reduces in objective Subjects.
Paper has been increased from 2 to 4 in General Studies.

Interpersonal skills including communication skills;Logical reasoning and analytical ability
Decision making and problem solving
General mental ability, Basic numeracy (numbers and their relations, orders of magnitude, etc.) (Class X level), Data interpretation (charts, graphs, tables, data sufficiency etc.
