University was established under an Act of Parliament of India on 2 June
2007.The University’s first chancellor was M. S. Swaminathan and Mahendra P.
Lama was the first vice chancellor. All the colleges in the state of Sikkim are
affiliated to this university. Sikkim University release notification for BCA, MCA, MBA, M.Com, PhD, M.Phil,
B.Sc, M.Sc, MA, BPA, MPA, BA LLB-LLM and Integrated programs in admission
session 2013-14.

Fee Structure: Applicants have to pay Rs 100/- for
general & reserved persons have to pay Rs 50/-. Further detail mentioned in
official notification, therefore applicants is advices to visit official
website.
Selection
Process: Applicants get selected through
written examination and personal interview for MPhil and PhD programmes. No
need to give written test for NET (JRF)/SLET/M.Phil qualified applicants but
qualify in personal interview.
