Jawaharlal Nehru University Admission 2013-14

Jawaharlal Nehru University is taking admission every year for the post of Under Graduation & Post Graduation. Courses are as BBA, B.A, BE, BCA, B.Tech, L.L.B, B.Com, BDS, B.Arch, MCA, MBA, M.PEd, LLM, MA (Sanskrit), M.Tech, M.Tech (Biotechnology), MCA, M.COM, M.Phil, Ph.D, M.Phil (African Studies), Ph.D (Law), B.PEd, B.Sc, M.Sc, Ph.D (Sanskrit), M.Sc (Agriculture), M.Sc (Environmental Science and Technology) etc courses.

Admission Notice 2013-14

Course Duration: Four semesters (two years)

Program Name: M.Tech Biotechnology.

Anna University, Chennai

Cochin University of Science and technology, Kochi, Kerala

West Bengal University of Technology, Kolkata

Eligibility Detail: Minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA from recognized board in one of the following subject:

B.Tech/B.E: Chemical Engg, Biochemical Engg, Industrial Biotechnology, Leather Technology, Biomedical Engg, B.Pharma, Chemical Technology.

M.Sc: Biotechnology, Life Science, Botany, Zoology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Genetics, Biophysics, Microbial Genetics & Bio informatics.

Examination Fee: Applicants have to pay Rs 600/- & SC/ST/PH category candidates have to pay Rs 300/- in mode of DD in favour of “Jawaharlal Nehru University” payable at New Delhi.

Application form submits to “Section Officer (Admissions), Room No.28, Admission Block, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi-110067”by Speed post / registered post.

Certificate require during admission:

Mark sheet & certificate of 10^th & 12^th.

Character certificate

Attested copy of Bachelor’s / master’s degree

Cash certificate

Medical certificate

Migration certificate

Selection Procedure: Applicants get selected through merit basis after giving combined entrance examination conducted by JNU.

Time table:

Online/offline application form issue date: Feb 7^th 2013.

Last date of submission of application form hard copy: March 28^th 2013.

Entrance test date: May 21^st 2013.

Result date: June to July 2013.

Call Letter: applicants have to download call letter from official site that is www.jnu.ac.in from May 10^th 2013. Take out hard copy of call letter and bring during written test.
